St. Mark’s has a high-quality music program, which is a central part of the life of the parish. The St. Mark’s Choir inter-generational choir includes both experienced volunteers and professional singers. We hope to involve and educate people of all ages, to include a variety of music from the Anglican and other traditions, and to inspire members of the congregation and the community through our worship. Music for worship is offered in the hope that it will help people deepen their experience and knowledge of God. The repertoire spans five centuries, and many languages and musical forms.
St. Mark’s offers a light contemporary service on Saturday evenings, two choral services each Sunday during the high season, beautiful anthems, Advent and Christmas Lessons & Carols. The choir sings for other major liturgies, such as Christmas Eve, Holy Week, Easter, Evensong, and concerts with orchestra.
We are always looking for new members! Please contact the Organist-Choirmaster.
